These small A6 thistle prints are prickly and bold, perfect as a set or individual to bring nature in to your home. Hand printed in gold or black they are completely handmade and unique to you. The gold ink catches the light beautifully and can look coppery in some lights. 
 
The bold thistle prints are of course inspired by our love for Scotland. Growing up in Glasgow, one of Eleanors favourite flowers has always of course been the thistle. This thistle was handdrawn in pen by Holly, before being transferred onto a lino block where is took approximately 5 hours to carve. It was then printed in black ink onto white prinamkers paper, using a brayer (roller).
 
Materials:
- Cranfield safe wash relief inks (gold and black)
- A6 Fabriano Unica Printmakers Paper 
- Traditional lino
- Swiss made Pfeil proffesional linocut tools 
 
The print will come safely in recyclable and eco-friendly packaging. 
Due to the unique nature of printmaking each print will differ slightly - making each one unique!
